Future of network marketing

The Future Network Marketing or MLM Business

In this article we are going to examine the future of Network Marketing. Network Marketing, also known as multi-level marketing, has been around for decades. Network Marketing is a form of direct selling where an independent distributor earns commissions from their own sales as well as from those of the people that they recruit. As a distributor, you are not required to purchase a company’s product but you are required to sell their product. There are both advantages and disadvantages to this type of business.

Is everyone eligible to do Network Marketing and how to do it well?

how to do network marketing

If you are one of them who is trying to break into network marketing world, then I must say you have made a great decision!

Network marketing is a viable business model for everyone, even if you don’t have a background in sales. There are so many different ways to make money with a network marketing business and you don’t need to be the best salesperson to succeed.

It really comes down to your ability to communicate and build relationships. I can’t tell you how many people I have met who started to build a family-owned business only to figure out none of their friends had a family member formerly in the same occupation.

Founders who started websites, contacted tech support for web harvesting scripts, were referred by friends. Dudes who were managers in convenience stores started pocketing cash until they realized they would never make any sales and decided it wasn’t worth it.

I’m not saying any of these people are bad people, I am saying they are usually the same people whose network marketing business turned out to be an absolute success. It wasn’t because of some random magical marketing idea or clever marketing campaign they ran, it just came about because they did the legwork and talk to the right people.

There is nothing wrong with asking your friends for referrals, but you may want to make sure you have an acceptable alternative. “Why would I want to do a referral program when I just want 10 people that I like to refer me, like I would like it myself?” There are a ton of different ways you can get referrals, but in order to be successful with network marketing, you have to do what I call The Referral Push.

The first and most important part of your strategy is to constantly remind people to refer you people that they know and trust. This could be replying to every social media comment, following every private message on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, and flipping the script on your network by reposting the content you have shared online against other posts that include the exact same topic.

Network marketing opportunities make sense for people with different needs

Network marketing opportunities make sense for people with different needs. For example, if you’re retired and want to supplement your income or if you’re trying to replace a full time income and change your lifestyle, network marketing may be a great way to do it. It sounds confusing at first, but if you break it down, network marketing is very straightforward.

To best explain it, imagine this: You have a website or blog and you want followers. In addition, you want to sell products or services on a regular basis. You have a business to run. For example, let’s say you write health and fitness articles for a living, but you also sell full-time hair products. By utilizing social media, you can connect with people and develop relationships. Now that we have established this, let’s look deeper into network marketing business models.

Let’s go back to our example of a hair salon. This is the classic social media model. You have an audience on social media. You post content hoping to connect with an audience. The audience can become a sponsor or customer. Depending on the success or failure of the post, you can either bring in a new donor or potentially lose money depending on how you implement changes. When I worked in marketing, I was told all the time to market to the products and services on my website instead of social media.

Make sure to mention products or services in your bios instead of saying social media. This is because social media can be a distraction. It’s where most friction happens. Manufacturing long-tail keywords will help reduce this friction. If the audience has shown interest in a specific product before, you can mention it. The times you choose to market to your website are based on the audience you have, not social media. Facebook and Twitter are the two main social media platforms with over 2 billion users each. However, you can market to different audiences on many different social platforms.
